HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - On Tuesday, the University of Alabama in Huntsville was named a voter friendly campus.
According to a student who helped win this title, the University is the first in the state to earn this title.
It was awarded by the Fair Elections Centerâs Campus Vote Project and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
School leaders said itâs a way to hold participating institutions accountable for planning events to encourage students to vote.

Wheat Profitability Projects Approved and Meatpackers COVID Cases Low
Wednesday Mar 10th, 2021 From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson with your Agribusiness Update. The National Wheat Foundation Board have approved three new projects, selected after strategic planning meetings with industry stakeholders of the wheat industry.
According to www.agrimarketing.com, the projects aim to answer these questions: Does high-yielding wheat equal high-quality wheat? Does high-yielding wheat equal higher profitability? And, can potassium levels in wheat grain be increased to help combat heart disease?
This is in addition to the successful National Wheat Yield Contest, which is now open for 2021.
